1979 IH Scout II with the midas edition conversion. Very rare. V345 auto trans
this midas edition Scout II is very rare and will not last long. Take it home today before it's gone.
Purchased this Scout recently without wife's permission....oops. Now I'm in dog house.
The good:
*this Scout has had almost all the running gear replaced with new not salvage parts.
*front and rear differentials new to hubs.
*new transfer case
*new transmission
*new breaks
*aluminum wheels
*cloth head liner
*duel sunroofs (good to look out of but not open)
*swivel captains chairs
*factory a/c (not sure if this works)
*tilt wheel
*cruise
the bad:
* needs fuel line replaced
* needs exhaust manifold gaskets ( I have new ones)
* needs valve cover gaskets (I have new ones)
* needs exhaust
engine runs and is very strong. With no smoke or knocks
