this is an original 1978 Scout xlc. Bought brand new in hollywood CA in 1978.
It has an original 63,000 miles on it and is 99.999% all original.
I have all documented work done on it and the original title.

set of 5 rallye wheels stripped down to nickel and ready for powder coat or re-chrome.*
set of original workshop manuals that came with the truck when new
original roof rack wrench
the good:
345ci engine, 727/d20 Dana 44's front and rear with trac-lok in rear 3.73 gears, air conditioning, deluxe trim, tilt wheel, am radio, center console, skid plate, tow package with wires, roof rack, and for more details read the line ticket.
Runs strong and drives fantastic, no smoke and minimal drips. Ready to drive cross country if you need to.
Here's what ive done to it in the last month:
**changed engine oil, filter and added filter adapter seal (it was leaking like crazy)
**flushed coolant
**rebuild carb (2210c)
**drain and fill transfer case
**drain and fill front and rear differentials w/ new seals
**new spark plugs *(autolite 85)*and flame thrower coil
and just some of what's been done in the last 10 years according to the receipts I have:
**all new engine seals
**new master cylinder
**flushed brakes
**distributor cap
**brake cylinders
**much much more...
The bad:
minor rust out in the typical spots, has not made it to the floor pans at all, just side panels. See pics for close ups.
Grandpa stalled so he hooked a chain to the front bumper instead of the frame and pulled it right off.
he's also put a dent in the drivers rear quarter panel. Comes with mangled front bumper.
This would be a ideal candidate for total restore to original
the pics here are from when I first got it so minor things have changed like I put the jack back under the hood *and cleaned it up a bit inside but you'll get the idea.
