1978 Scout Tire Size

Hey everyone! I'm a newbie to this forum as I haven't technically taken possession of my 1978 Scout. I will be going to pick it on next week but it has been sitting for years and the tires wont hold any air. I'm going to have to load it on a trailer and haul it about 3 hours to get it back home. I was hoping that I could find some used tires around here (Houston, TX) and take them to San Antonio where I'm picking up the Scout. My thought was to take the tires from here, take off the existing stock wheels and take them to a local shop to have the tires put on. I could then load the Scout onto the trailer and bring her home. My issue is that I don't know what size tires to look for around here. The Scout is completely stock and this is my first 4X4 vehicle so I'm new to this world. I know that the old tires size is shown differently than most vehicles these days so equivalent sizes would be greatly appreciated. Basically, I need to know what size tires to look for to put on the 15" original rims to get the Scout on the trailer. I don't want to spend a ton of money on new tires because I'm undecided on what I'm going to do with this restoration.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the thesis...

If it's got the white spoked wheels the tire size would 10.5/31-15. Hub capped steel rims would be around a 235/75-15. Or if you want to borrow some wheels, it is the same 5.5x5 bolt pattern as Ford.
