I have received several phone calls regarding this vehicle and want to clear some things up as well as make sure that any thing that is being sold on my website not be misrepresented in any way what so ever and answer some questions that the owner was not accurately able to.

The last time ihon looked at this vehicle was March of this year and at the time was deemed not safe for on or off road use when it left our facility. The spring over axle lift needed quite a bit of attention or in other words completely redone(new perchs, ubolts, plates, shocks, hysteer, etc). The vehicle also needs the power steering system installed as it is missing the pump as well as new tires as the tires that are on it are deeply weather checked and are out of round. These are the main issues with this vehicle as far as we know. Otherwise the 350(maybe it was a 327?) engine seems solid and ihon installed new aa motor mount kit on it as well as a new clutch back in March, 2008. We also installed a used sm465 transmission and a used NP205 transfer case at about that same time. Also at the same time the rear axle was overhauled with a new ring/pinion and powrlok limited slip.

We will gladly forward the estimate to repair the drive train to anyone interested in purchasing this vehicle and wanting to know what it would cost for ihon to make the Scout safe and reliable for use.

Re: 1973 Scout II [.Must Sell.] $4,000 OBO

price reduced 4,000 take it away

I would say that is a very realistic price. Anyone willing to pay that much ought to feel good about only having to spend that much on this vehicle. I’m making judgment on the body which appears to be straight and solid. Plus it sounds like it has a good running engine. Someone jump on it, it’s a good deal.

I love this truck did the issues get sorted out that Jeff Ismail was talking about from ihonlynorth. I would like to come drive it. If I like it I gonna buy it. Thanks.
