So put this question out on another website and hoping for some additional advice. I have a 72 1110 step side short box. Currently it’s 4 wheel but everything is old school. Stock 258, 3 speed manual everything. Body is in excellent shape but I would like to bring everything up to date and lose the 4 wheel drive completely. Had read about dropping the body on a 1970 C-10 frame but now I’m hearing that could be a real pain. Any suggestions? P.S Want to go automatic and V-8 Thanks
