1970 Frame Numbers ?

Does a 1970 1300 have frame numbers that match the vin number. If so, where does one look to find the numbers?

I'm not sure about your IH rig, but on the Scout II (72 and 74 have very similar locations) there are two sets of numbers on the frame that I have seen. One on the rear most cross member by the gas tank just under the tailgate. And the 2nd # located on outside of frome just behind driver side front shock bracket

I'm not sure if they correspond to the vin number or not. I never checked
 
The frame number wich May only be part of the vin will be on the driver's side of the frame member near the steering box mount -in some cases under the steering box mount.

Wire brush and brake clean will uncover it.
