1970 Ford f100 short box
360 v8
4 spd manual transmission w/granny gear (orig. Floor mount)
original white paint is tired but has nice patina
I bought this from the daughter of the original owner who passed about six years ago. It has been
a ranch truck here in northern Nevada since he bought it new. No rust. After he passed, it sat for
five years so when I aquired it I did the following:
lots of new recent new parts (within last year) include:
new raybestos master cylinder
(2) new wheel cylinders (raybestos)
new (rebuilt) motorcraft starter
new fuel filter
new radiator cap
new thermostat
new alternator
(1) new firestone destination a/t owl p235/70r16 104s tire to match existing.
New upholstery on bench seat
new water pump
new hoses & clamps throughout
new spark plugs and wire kit
pertronix ignition
tune up
transmission and rear differential service
fmp rebuilt remy alternator
fmp regulator
battery terminal ends and wires
probably forgetting a few other things but I have reciepts for all that is listed above
dual auxilliary fuel tanks (have not used in over 5 yrs. So should probably be flushed.
Original am radio works
has factory 16" steel wheels (5), probably from an f-350?
Good tread on tires
tool box in bed w/keys included
interior is original and squeaky clean. Original floor covering in red/black speckle pattern
runs strong and straight , no known issues, everything works as it should. The only thing I was going to do in the future if I was going to tow
or haul heavy loads was install a new clutch, but it is fine for daily driving according to the transmission shop who serviced it.
I put a grant steering wheel on but still have the original factory red jumbo wheel.
I also removed the western mirrors and put on the peep mirrors but the western mirrors are included as well.
