Behind the hood...
In front of the windshield...

One can remove the 10 screws that hold down that cowl inlet vent screen item. Air goes in to help feed the heater core, I suspect.

Here's my question....
If rain water is filling the ducts under that cowl inlet vent screen and not draining out, how do I find and clean out the drain area? Is it somewhere under the passenger side rear section of the front fender?

When it rains, I have leaking from under the heater core inside the passenger compartment all over the carpet. Yay.

Thanks

Look up along the passenger and drivers side kick panel. You should see the vent opening. The round body line is known to rust out in the area around the vent openings. As you say this is caused by debris collecting in the areas around the vent penetration into the areas under the vent screen and holding moisture. Ugly area to fix..
