1962 Scout 80 Rebuild

Morning all,

I have a Scout 80 152 rebuild in process. Engine is rebuilt but it's been sitting for some years(whole truck has been tarp covered) so just pulled it out to get it ready and dry fit the drive chain. We are swapping the 3 speed transmission for a 4 speed T-18. Transfer case is already attached to our transmission. Later down the line we are looking to do an all four disc brake swap. There are a few rust holes but nothing larger than 1/2" so far. I will most likely be updating this thread with questions for other things down the road. If anyone has advice or thread links on this process it would be greatly appreciated! Also if anyone is local to San Diego and wants to come see the rig and/or give thoughts on what is next let me know!

Update:
Did a dry fit of the engine, transmission, and transfer case. Bell housing lined up, so now we are on the hunt for the flywheel, ring gear, pilot bearing, and throw out bearing. We have a semi-worn clutch and pressure plate. We are unsure on what size throwout bearing we need, if anyone can tell based on the input shaft below please let me know!

We youtubed a couple videos to get top dead center on cylinder one and installing the distributor, so more details on the correct process for that would be awesome. Any info on part dealers would be greatly appreciated as well!

Does anyone know if the transmission mount/cross member needs to be altered for the T-18?

What are the parts out of? The t-90 is a short little transmission. The scout 80 cross member goes under the mount determined by the t-90.
If you have the original trans and bellhousing you should be able to take the critical dimensions and see if it will line up.
