This is a 1961 International Travelall 100 with the super cool rear cargo doors or “barn doors” as some people call them. I found it in a barn in super dry eastern oregon. It was last driven in 1987 by the rancher. With some fresh gas and a new battery it fired up and runs. The 4spd transmission shifts through all the gears and sounds good. The motor is an inline 6cyl. It runs great with no noticeable lifter noise. With the exception of the tires being 23 years old I would drive it anywhere.
If you have been looking at “round body” travelalls for long you will know they have very specific rust prone areas. This one is in excellent shape rust wise. It does have some in the driver side floor and also by the front turn signal on the passenger side. Take a look at the pictures. I have photographed the bad spots. The cowl and underside of the hood are near perfect. The emblems are all present and in great shape. I think the paint would even buff back to a shine. The front seat bottom is ripped and will need recovered. The rear is great. As of now the door panel on the driver’s door is missing. I May be able to find one by the close of the auction. It is also missing an inside door handle. This I May also be able to find before the end of the auction.
This truck is almost 50 years old and is not perfect. However I have been playing with International scouts and travelalls for the last 15 years and have probably owned close to 50. So I do recognize a good one when I see it. Please ask questions. It is very hard to mention everything about a truck. So if you have a specific concern please ask. Asking $2995 obo
