17 inch wheels for Scout II?

After looking at many of the newer tires, it is looking like there are less 15 inch tires and more 17 inch tires available for 4x4 vehicles.

Are there any Scout II owners out there using 17 inch wheels on their trucks? If so, what style/type of wheels and what tires?

I'm running a set of rock chucker 16" x 8" rims here. That's kind the standard pickup size. At least it was 10 years ago when I put them on. I've found no shortage of tires or load ranges in that size (265/75 16)

I have a pair of 17's from a dodge I just need to take them to the machine shop to open up the centers to clear the IH hub

I used to have 17'' wheels for my Scout II a few months ago. I ended up switching to what I am more comfortable with. Personally, I still prefer having 15" wheels.

From what I've learned recently, it looks like my next set of Scout II tires will be 15 inch-ers, like my current ones.
