Here are a couple of pics of a 14 bolt s/f dif I'm thinking of buying, it's out of an 87 3/4 ton 2wd p/u. Wanted to make sure it's the right 14 bolt.

Watch craigslist.org for a full floating 14bolt you should be able to pick one up for $200 or less around here. I actually think you can pull one from pnp for around that price too.

X2 I go almost every other weekend. They will be having a 1/2 weekend here in a couple more months either wait for that or let me know and I will do what I can to help you ge one I think regular price is around $150. I paid 100 for a Chevy 44 front last weekend.

Nice deal on the Chevy 44!!

What do you mean by "right" 14 bolt? The full floating 14 bolt is the more popular swap candidate because it can usually be had for about the same price as it's smaller brother, and it has great strength. What you show in the picture is the semi floating 14 bolt, which is still a worthy axle. It will survive long after a Dana 44 has failed. For most people/uses it has plenty of strength. It also has much better ground clearance under the diff. Depending on the front axle you want, 6 lug could be just the ticket.
