Default 72 Scout Ii front headlight assembly

Hi everyone,
The trucks front headlight assemblies are a mess and I'm not sure exactly how to reassemble. I would appreciate if you guys could shed some light on the questions I have below.

1. The rear bucket does it attach behind the flanges?
2. The bucket with adjustment screws and spring does it attache to the outside of the mounting flanges and also should it be mounted win spring on the top or bottom?
3. I assume the spring attaches to the headlight retaining ring?

Thanks in advance for all your assistance.
Sam

A few pictures that might help. Believe spring is on the bottom when installed
