Exclamation Steering Assist Units

Does anyone have recommendations regarding the addition of an electric steering assist unit? My 58 pickup is too hard for my wife or daughter to drive (parking, etc), and mechanics all complain about the workout they get when they have to maneuver it around the shop.

Default Re: Steering Assist Units

There are no kits available that I am aware of but cannot say that I have looked for one in a few months. I do know George Womack, a fellow IH owner, installed one on his Scout 800 earlier this year. He did post about it on another board(justih.org) and possibly he might have some words of wisdom for you on it.
