![]() All,
It's has been a while since we all went out as a group, and it looks like we will get some snow this year. Any interest in a snow run this 2019? Folks located in the Sacramento area, like me, like Mormon Emigrant, but I am open to other suggestions. It looks like we are going to get a good storm this weekend, but that may not be enough time to pull together a group? I could go this Sunday, or maybe another weekend in January? If you are interested, please post up.

![]() I would love to. But, I'm getting ready to pull my rear axle out for a complete rebuild. That includes installing an ARB. Then I need to do the same with the front axle in order to regear to match the rear.
Not sure how long it will take me, due to limited time away from work

![]() Thanks Scooter. Good luck getting that all sorted out.
Craig and I couldn't resist going up to Mormon Emigrant Trail on Sunday to try out the new snow. We got there about noon and there was about a foot or two of snow on the ground. The snow on the road was compact snow and ice though. It was snowing and blowing hard. We stopped for the kids to do some sledding, but it was tough to have a conversation because of the snow blowing in your eyes. Here is a picture of me with Craig and his brother Doug. We are planning on going again if anyone is interested. It is a good time. ![]()

![]() Ok great. I'm looking at the weather report, and this week's storms have been pretty warm. Snow level was about 6000 feet. The trail probably got a lot of rain, so I don't think this is a good weekend. I think next weekend (Jan. 19-20) might be better. It is supposed to rain in the valley most of next week. I don't know if the storms are warm or cold though, so we will have to wait and see.

![]() Looked like fun. I miss the snow runs.
I just finished doing a shackle reversal kit install, a couple weeks ago. Tried to see about replacing the front calipers and pads today, but the rain got the better of me. At this rate I may not be able to go wheeling untill some time after March when I get back from vacation.

![]() I just cut and pasted the weather report for this weekend:
Significant snow accumulations are possible in the mountains above 5000 feet Tuesday night and above 6000 feet Wednesday night and Thursday. The heaviest snow amounts are expected to fall Wednesday night and Thursday where 3 to 4 feet of snow could fall near the major pass levels. Breezy conditions are expected Tuesday with the potential for stronger winds on Wednesday and Wednesday night. MET starts at about 5000 feet and has a max elevation of about 8000 feet, so there should be some new snow. Do folks have time this weekend?

![]() No one posted up, but we went again this weekend. Matt was unable to go because his new tires were not delivered, but Craig, Craig's friend Kevin, Doug and I went up to Ice House Road on Monday (MLK Holiday). The snow was great. It started off at about one foot and then got to about 4 feet as we went higher. Most of the snow was new, except for some snow mobile tracks. We turned around at about 1pm. Here are some pics. I brought my Blazer this time rather than my Scout. We plan on going one more time this year if anyone is interested. It may be a couple of weeks before some new snow falls though.

![]() Craig, Matt and I went up to Ice House on Monday to try out the new snow. It was a nice day, but the snow was so dry and deep that it was difficult to get anywhere. We still have a great time. If anyone is interested in going next time, post up or PM me. It is getting late in the season, but we might go one more time.
