Default Partsmike Hi Steer kit included in your SOA kit.

Just asking this question as I've been doing some research on steering set ups... well after I have mine installed from your kit . But besides that I'm still curious on this.

Why did you guys choose the Inverted T tie rod/ drag link set up rather than the Dual hole Cross over steering?

Just learning for the future as I may add ram assist and have read on Inverted T set ups that the ram can bind when the tie rod rolls due to the drag link.

Thanks for any info.

Shorter arms! The longer 2 hole arms have a tendency to interfere with the shorter, arched leafsprings of a Scout II so that is the main reason why we go with the inverted Tee set up.

When performing hydro-assist, if the ram is angled in the slightest upward or downward position, it will have a tendency to try and twist the tierod when turning. Having the ram as parallel to the tierod as possible should eliminate that problem.
