Default 800A Poly Fuel Tank

I am trying to install the poly fuel tanks from IH Parts America and I am having some trouble. I have a return line for my fuel injection and am running two hard lines from the tank top, towards the rear, then under the tank as similar to the original routing. My issues are:
1) it is a tight fit and it does not look like the steel cover will fit
2) the new tank does not have any feet to lift the tank to create space to route the lines under the tank. If I fab a spacer I do not think there is enough room at the top of the tank for the fittings.
3) any bolts that connect the straps to the body will rub on the tank.

Does anybody have any pictures of how they routed their fuel lines and installed their tank? I am trying to keep the basic look as original and possible.
