Who's hitting the trail Friday morning? I imagine we'll catch up with Jesse and Matt down the trail (you guys planning on hanging out somewhere?).

Jesse and I are hitting the trail Thursday morning. Plan is to camp at buck. I'll have my cb (ch 25) and ham (if I can figure out how to use it ).

I think last year we had talked about coordinating our packing. I think we had four or five hibachis and four hi-lift jacks? I'll be bring my hibachi and hi-lift. Anyone is welcome to use either. You need to bring your own propane to run the hibachi though.

Glad you said something Jesse. I've got a propane stove, all are welcome to use it. Going to leave my bbq home since you've got yours.

My plan was Friday afternoon, but I'm having some transmission issues. I'm going to adjust the band's and see if that helps.

If not I'm out.

After that educational (and entertaining) video we watched on re-building a transmission, I'm surprise to hear your having issues.

It ran fine for about 50 miles and then I noticed an issue over the weekend. I inspected the entire drive train. Jess stop by and said adjust the band's and see what happens.

With the fire being only a couple miles from the cabin. I ran up there a turned of the fire sprinklers. They water the cabin and around the cabin. With the fire in the canyon below all it would take is some wind to escape the containment lines

I called my tranny guy, he was unsure over the phone. But I made band adjustment they were not far off. No change. Further diagnosis will be needed.

If you have to leave late Friday, maybe you can pick up Craig if his truck is a no go.

I'm still looking for a sitter for lola (she does not travel well, even in a new car) but it's not looking good. Kate works 24 hours this weekend and all my regular help is booked.
