Man dk, that looks great! I'm actually reconsidering going with your approach now that I see it. Real reason I didn't go that route to begin with was a lack of a welding machine but, it looks like I might be getting another here very shortly. Thanks for sharing!

That's a great idea for the gauges, looks good. I have the t-19 in my truck and it's been a good tranny, highway speed wasn't that good though till I went to bigger tires. Keep the updates coming!

That post May not last buddy. Since theyre a competitor to IHPA its best not to post something that promotes another company.

but yes...Scout porn. Thats why I keep any sales literature I find with scouts.

On another note I was browsing through a 4x4 mag at the doctors office and it had a bunch of 4wd lightline vehicles including ismails cummins powered beast

Yeah sorry. That one had to go bye-bye for the reasons already mentioned in the prior post. Now if you want to photoshop out all the prohibited content and repost, that would be fine.

Centerfolds? Ok, what did I miss? Where's the eye candy? Seems that I'm always a day late and a dollar short. Story of my life. My excuse is that I was born late. And I'm sticken to it.

You missed it man. Doc was trying to solicit "services" on here. It was disgusting.

Nope. No wories. He posted a picture of a pretty Scout that sadly had some advertising from a direct IHOnly competitor

IHPA sorry

Yeah, I posted up some porn but it was a bunch of overpriced, skunky hooker types so scoutboy did us a favor and yanked it! I'll be a little more picky next time now that I know the high caliber tastes of the folks around here.

Had a 4 day weekend but, with easter, family visiting, turkey hunting, rain and working on spring cleaning my shop, I didn't do much wrenching. I've put the 72 completely on hold until I transform my shop from storage back into something I can work in.

at any rate, I did get the turn signal switch swapped out and put in a new tranny filter/gasket. I went with a cheap local kit for the tranny since I'm planning to drop the pan again after I get a few hundred to 1k miles on her myself. Then I'll be ordering a kit from IHPA. Other than that, I started soaking the body mount bolts with aerokroil in atticipation of installing the new rubbers.

I've seen worse. The old filter had some small tears in it though!

I was really expecting to see a lot worse based off the fluid I siphoned out last week.

Realized after I got the plan cleaned and everything back together that I didn't take any pics of the tranny with the filter removed or with the new filter in. Not sure if you guys really care or not but, wish I had for future reference.

The guys at IHPA really have top notch parts. I didn't find a single flaw in a side by side.
