Scott here from paradise valley alberta. I just brought a 1980 Scout. It has a 345 engine, 727 trans, 300 t-case, 44's with 3.31 in them. It is a 100% wreck, rust is bad! Plus ever plan is dented. My plan is to remove the body & install a 1950 l-110 IH body on to it. I know, wrecking a Scout. But its was going to the junk pile, so this will keep it alive. Been an ihc fan for awhile, g/f has had ihc products since he got back from ww2. We still have a truck & tractor that he got in 52,53. Here is a pic of the Scout.

Also got LST from local IH truck dealership. Partsman emailed it to me, but I cant figure out how to post an email.

Hello to all, I have a 1971 Scout 800B that just went through some pretty substantial work by the guys at IH Parts America. Just want to say how great they are and what an incredible job they did!

Welcome wagonwheel.

I am pretty partial to the round body t-alls.

From the pictures it appears as if the important and hard to find stuff is still all there.

Be very careful of the rear side glass--good rear side glass is getting pretty hard to find=$$$.

Good luck.

Cool Re: New Members please check in here

Alan in tulsa, ok. I've been a fan of internationals probably 'cause my Dad was/is. He won't let his dead ones go for anything. Just bought a Scout II, I have named scoutie. Wanted to find out what to do with it. So google led me here. Have read many post already with great interest. Amazed at the parts available for them. Looking forward to coming back often.

Greetings from Arizona! Newbie here. I picked up a 1979 IH Scout II last month in phoenix. I love the truck, but need to get kicking on some tlc. I haven't really been around scouts too much since I was a kid and my grandfather had a couple. But I figured what better time than now? I will be in touch here, especially when the temperatures aren't in the triple digits here!
I've already started asking questions on the forum and I appreciate the insights and advice already. Much thanks! Time to start sinking the $$$ into her!
