Default 71 800B

I bought this 800B for my wife. But then she gave it to me cause I gave up my other vehicles. It came with 44's front and rear. Chevy 305, 700r4, Dana 20. Body looked really straight but lots of things were hiding from sight.

So lots of fun issues. (not really fun) the floor pans were shot they had like a layer of bondo then sheet metal screwed over it and then bedliner to hide it all.Name: cage and top.jpg

Cute little baby. Too bad the rust worms had such a feast and too bad the po chose to cloak it rather than fix it. Looks like you're well on your way to righting that wrong.

Nice! I had a 64 80 that was a "lipstick on a pig" truck. It was purdy....till you looked real close. But I still drove the heck out of it and used it to gather firewood every summer. I'm pretty sure there is a big can of worms in my 63, I'm starting to do a lot of work on it and am finding interesting repairs......its just more welding!

Nice Scout, at least you don't have to start from the beginning. Looks like you already have some nice upgrades from the previous owner. Rust repair sucks. Don't get discouraged, keep at it and before you know it you'll be done. After I finished the rust repair on my 800 I had to take a break and recharge.
