Default Front Drive Shaft

I have a 77 SII with a 196 and (now) 4spd T-19 with D20 trans. case. I swapped out the 3 spd and single chain trans case. My problem is that the front drive shaft that I have does not fit now. Picture attached.

When installing the T-19 and D20, I noticed that I did not need the "Z" bracket that bolts up to the trans cross member, it bolted straight up, which would mean that it is about 2 inches shorter.

I installed it and it is fully collapsed (not good). I am guessing that there are shorted drive shafts around, but I need to know how much shorter. By the picture, the main shaft is about 15". I need to shorten one of them. The SII has a 2" body lift with a 2" lift spring lift. I do some easy off road, nothing serious.

thanks,
