![]() put the word out. IHSTO will be moving our meeting location. The noise has been getting worse at the current one. Last meeting was the last straw.
We have found a location that we think will work lots better. Its called elmers. elmer's restaurants - breakfast lunch & dinner You take the same exit off the freeway but go east insted of west. The address is 3950 market st ne and directions would be exit 256 and then east on market st one block and elmer's is on the right in front of fred meyer. Real easy to find. Here is a link to a map also. salem, or Here is the menu. elmer's restaurants - breakfast lunch & dinner Spread the word. We will be meeting here starting in October. Thanks.

![]() Glad to hear it! When they put the doorway into the game room, that was enough for me. Elmer's should be much quieter.

![]() Basically none carey. 7 or 8 years ago, when the IHSTO club was enjoying peak levels of membership, organization and club-affiliated activities, there were some instances of co-mingling between the north and south. That included several wheeling trips in this neck that drew attendees from up north. There was talk on more than one occasion of forming a southern IHSTO chapter to be based in medford. Back then, we had a small, but solid contingent of binderphiles in and around the greater medford metro area who would regularly get together to help each other with their rigs and go wheeling etc. What we didn't have is anyone who was willing to take the bull by the horns in terms of forming, organizing and maintaining an official club. We called ourselves southern oregon scouts (sos), but that was mostly tongue in cheek. Sadly now, even the northern hub of IHSTO seems to be more or less dormant. You know how these things go. Interest, participation and membership will go through peaks and valleys. We're in a deep valley right now. I think, I hope anyway, that there are still some coals that if properly stoked, could ignite into a flame once again.
