Default IH 1200B Truck Parting Out

Hello all, new user here but found this site to be very informative. I recently picked up an IH for the dump bed. I figured I'd post here to see if anyone needs parts.

I beleive it is a late 60's model, IH 1200B. 7300 GVWR with the heavier rear Dually axle. It has the V304 Gas Engine.

Let me know what parts you need, good parts include:

Mirrors & mounts, drivers side door is straight and solid, steering column, dash gauges, engine, trans shifts and holds gear, rear axle, driveshaft, etc.

Pricing is negotiable.

All located in Owensboro KY (western ky).

Welcome to the forum. I suspect the data plate was originally attached to a different truck, older than this one. The side views say this is a D-series, making it no older than a 1969 model. The cross-flow radiator is another tell tale. A view of the grille front and the interior dash panel would help home in on the actual year. With the dual wheels, I also suspect the actual GVWR of this truck would be above 7300 lbs, most likely putting it in the one-ton category. That would make it either a 1300D or a 1310, depending on the model year. Since the tag appears to be incorrect, the engine might also be something other than a 304, or it could be a 304 just by coincidence.

On another note, I must inform you that the forum rules for posting ads here require that individual prices be listed for each item being sold.

And lastly, do you have the complete mounting brackets for both door mirrors and are they in good shape? I might be interested in taking them off your hands if the price is right.

Scoutboy thanks for the reply and info! I’ll look for a tag on the motor and see if it’s something besides the 304. It has a holley 2 barrel carb on it. I attached some photos of the front grill and interior dash.

I do have both drivers and passengers side mirror mounts. The lower mount on the door below the window is stuck on because the flathead screws into the door are frozen in rust. I can grind the heads off carefully though. Is $40 for the pair fair for you? I would ship at cost. I can get photos.

As far as pricing goes, let me know if these are in the ballpark:
$40 for the 5 cab lights, one is broken.
$30 for the set of mirrors
$50 front grill
$40 per front fender
$20 cowl corners
$20 turn signal marker lights
$10 dome light
$150 engine complete as is
$90 trans as is
$25 per pedal
$75 driveshaft

OR - whole truck without dump bed & hoist - $500
- whole truck with dump bed & hoist - $1500

Definitely a D-series truck. The center insert is missing from the grille, but that particular grille being painted rather than chromed says 1969 1300D to me. The '70 and '71 models had that same grille shape, but they were chromed for those years.
Your pricing seems quite reasonable to me. You're clearly not trying to get rich on these parts and that's commendable.
So I'm actually interested in the mirror heads and the mounting brackets as a complete set. I'd love to see pics of the brackets too when you're able. And let me know what you need for the whole set plus shipping. My zip is 97429...SW Oregon for shipping consideration.
As for the engine size, there is a machined pad on the passenger side of the block just above the fuel pump and below the cylinder head where the engine size is typically stamped into the pad. With a two barrel carb, it's most likely a 304 or 345. The 392's generally came with a 4 barrel.
