Default 69 800A - Post Power Steering Swap Steering Wheel

New to the Forum....but have had the '69 Scout 800A in the family since new...and in my home for 20 years. Quite a few years ago I did the power steering conversion......I have finally decided to go with a smaller steering wheel. Can you tell me of one that will slide right on and fit without any modification to the steering column?

By the way, I did your lift suspension kit last year, it was excellent and the quality of the ride was better than new....thanks.

Folks, I guess I am surprised to have not had a reply to what type of steering wheel will fit on the column to replace the large stock wheel. With all of the folks who have added power steering to the 800's.....is everyone still running the big steering wheel? Does a Scout II wheel fit? Thanks from Idaho

My 72 Scout II came with a big steering wheel, and it has factory power steering. My 75 had an ugly weird shaped steering wheel when I got it. I replaced both with smaller wheels. Both required adaptors for the steering wheels I put on them. Most likely it will require a similar, if not same adaptor, for the 800As. Believe it's a Grant 4503 for the Scout IIs.

This is a great help, thanks. Exactly what I was hoping for, a relatively simple solution.
