Define works well.... Problem is I don't have function or safety so I'm starting with cosmetics and improving things from there It will be obvious (I hope) weather the housing might fit. If not your idea is close enough second. In regards to "function and safety" straight ahead bearing zero in this thing, is with the wheel turned 20 degrees starboard. Theres about 25 degrees play in the system, and my driveway had a bump in it that pulls the whole front end aproximatly 12" to the left in less than 10 feet distance. Country roads at 45 mph is drunk simulator. Fortunately highways are flat enough to drive without any bumper bowling.
