I did succeed! What a pain it was to find a replacement spring.
Seems that old Studebaker Wagon Tailgates had a match of a spring! Here is where I found one:

1964 Travelall - Rear Window Regulator Spring

Need a round, wound regulator spring that aids in the power rear window raise up. Large coil spring; mine broke. Needs to (I am assuming here) be larger than the manual window door springs.

My big, wound coil spring that lives with the power window regulator has broken and become un-sprung. The culprit to my tailgate glass not wanting to raise up without killing the little power...

Do we know where International obtained their window regulators back in the 60's? I'm wondering if they are the same as what ended up in GM autos. Easy to find GM...

1964 Travelall - Clutch Feel

My clutch seems to engage once the clutch pedal is almost 100% released. Anyone know if this is normal or should it engage with the pedal closer to the floor?

Ha! We shall hope they are both fixed soon! I'm in southern California and we are actually receiving rain this year which is odd; so Travelall is under the carport awaiting me to fix that window....

Yea...switch is alive. If it were dead the window would be playing dead as well. The window rolls down fine. Just doesn't have the strength to raise itself back up. Just barely creeps up.

My tailgate glass lowered fine the other night.
And then decided it did not want to raise up anymore.
Even with me physically trying to pull up, while switch was being pushed...it wouldn't raise...

I have sand blasted and powder coated the stock metal door panels.
Upon install I have a new question....

The door handles & window cranks....
I know they attach with the pins; shoved through...

And if the stamped metal ones....was there anything that lived behind them once unscrewed?

Ahhh....now that all makes sense! Wonder what year my engine is. Is there a number on it anywhere I can spy to determine what year I am working with? I hate buying bastardized...

Here are images of my engine bay; and upper radiator hose.
So...out about an inch from my thermostat housing there are a pair of other radiator hose clamps and something hard within the hose...

Huh. My radiator has the upper hose on the drivers side; not the passenger side.

Anyone have a picture of the correct thermostat housing where the upper radiator hose attaches? I just bought a correct upper hose at napa; but it doesn't match what I have on the vehicle...

Great information! I have the 304cid and the 5 speed manual transmission. I would have never guessed the positive cable went around the back of the engine!
