Is that 1/16" toe in on each tire, or is that 1/16" overall toe in using the two tape measure method, one on the front of wheel and one at the back?

Sorry I am an alignment newbie.

Okay Jeff I need just 1 more question answered.

Okay, I'll look at doing that.

How I set it was made aluminium angle plates with the bolt pattern in them mounted to the hubs. checked the toe at the furthest outside edges which was 27" from end...

High temp gasket sealer the orange helps. You sure there isn't anything that the manifold is sitting against stopping it from pulling in tight? Is the manifold new and actually flat itself?

Hey fellas.

Finally got to drive the scout with your SOA and hi steer set up.

It seems a little light and floaty on the front end. Just wondering if you have any recommendations for alignment...

Could be a 304 or 345 V8 both were options. If the emmisions sticker is gone off the Valve cover that tells you displacement, there is a stamping on the block just above the fuel pump.

Yep, have you changed the carb or thought about Hamilton Fuel Injection?

You're looking at prob close to $1000-2000 or so to go with an old SBC (mounts, adapter plate etc)

Newer LS can get...

Jsounds like starter is over heating? Have you changed the fuel filter? Don't waste money on 91 this engine doesn't need it.

Don't understand why you would the prestolites are world's better than the points style ever were.

If you went back to a points style you'd have to change out the coil and put in a condesor as...

The later prestolites were an all electronic hall effect pick up, they were never points.

What pressure rad cap are you using? Some are 7 some are 15/16 psi.

All coolant systems create pressure as the coolant heats up. Its physics.

Are you using water or a 50/50 mix of coolant?

Somehow I don't understand how a scouts fully boxed frame isn't strong enough like you say? ...
