I always thought mine should have carried the pattern from the back seat to the front seats and thus match the door panels as well. If I ever redo the original seats this is what I will/would do,...

The seats that I have photo'd came with the Scout that way from the factory. It has been in my family since my uncle bought it used about 1970. According to the LST it was built in April of 1966...
