Drip rail trim removal

Anyone know how to remove the ss trim around the drip rail of a D series pickup?

The stainless drip rail trim on the Datsun D Series is usually clip-on. Start at one end and gently pry outward with a trim tool, working clip by clip. Go slow the trim bends easily.

Don't think there's room under the trim for clips.

Could be the style that snaps directly onto the gutter lip instead of using separate clips. Try carefully lifting the lower edge outward while rolling it upward off the drip rail. A plastic trim tool and patience help a lot those stainless pieces kink very easily.

You do realize this is an International Harvester website right and has nothing to do with Datsun's? May I ask what kind of IH do you own?
