RULES FOR POSTING IN CLASSIFIEDS

To all members. Rules for posting are pretty easy. All we ask when posting your classified ad is to please be sure to list the location of the parts you are selling, contact information and a price. Failure to comply will get your ad deleted after being reminded once to do so.

No commercial postings - if you are a business and want to post a commercial ad you must first ask before posting.

Once your item sells, please post that your item or vehicle has sold. A moderator will then come in and edit your post title to reflect the sale and lock the post. We do not delete postings as they are kept around to help draw in search engine traffic.

Otherwise we thank you for using our website and wish you the best of luck with the selling of your vehicle or item.

Could it be possible to add the location or zip code to the subject line? A lot of sites I'm on require this.

Who ever posts the ad would have to do this on our own. I agree that it would make searching for parts and such in your area much easier but for us to require it would mean we would have to police it so to speak.

New rule

do not post complete vehicles to be parted out. List out the parts specifically, the asking price and location.

Failure to comply will result in a deleted add.

Just a suggestion, but edit this sticky thread with a title something like the following, or however you want it.

Part - Location - $Price$

Hello Jeff
I wanted to post our new brake kit. Even though I am an individual - they are for sale on our business website. Please let me know if this is OK

Sorry but that product does compete with one we sell plus goes to a business website so your link to it was removed.
