Not sure if someone will answer, but while i await my line ticket to find out what my vehicle actually is, I started to wonder myself. the door panel says 1200B which tells me ok this vehicle was a 67, but then the registration states its a 68. But wasn't the 1200C in 68?

"C" Series round body P/U runs from '61 to '68.
It's my understanding that in some states they were titled the year of first sale not the year of manufacture.
There is no year designation on my LST.
Only what looks like "month/day" on the top line.
1200B is '67. Only '68 models had the front fender marker light and no hood emblem.

Your IH Model 1200B is a 1967 model year, 3/4 ton pick-up truck.
It looks to be in pretty good condition for the year, and nicely equipped with power steering & power brakes with a dual circuit system. Because of that, I would guess it is a late build in the 1967 trucks.
Take care of it and it should last a long time.

I'm still dealing with the DMV to transfer the title and registration. New Jersey is the worst for this and it's a total pain in the ass. I guess that makes sense. The previous owner had kept some repair tickets of what work was done on the truck and some of the earlier, ones do,say sixty seven but then the later bills say sixteen eight. I do have the good emblem for, sure. Engine does seem good but there is rust from sitting on a farm most of its life but I plan fixing that at some point. The line ticket will tell me full details I hope of the exact fact it was made.

Just to keep everyone up to speed. Just dropped off my truck at a mechanic who I think will be awesome. He stores older cars and does work with European stuff. His father has a full blown C&C shop in the back and is a machinist. I think I'm in good hands. Truck started right up this morning before it was towed so I am happy. I found some POR15 rust paint which is supposed to be the best and can stop the spread while I focus on mechanical issues and then work on body if I'm going to full restore the truck. Now I have to get the truck fully title and registered. Stupid DMV from NJ
