Default what's largest diesel motor that can be dropped in light line 60s truck

With out major modifications?
To be more specific with mechanical injector pump

got one tons ready to go under
but gonna upgrade from that too.

The largest I have seen is a IH dt466 into a d-series travelette.

But with enough $$$, steel, a welder, and sheetmetal mods you can stuff whatever you want in there. A turned up 12v or 24v cummins would be the normal diesel for this kind of thing.
