Default Adding power steering to C series Travelall

Hi all, I've searched the forums but I'm still confused. I have an 1100C Travelall (leaf spring front end, 4x4) and was wondering if the D-series power steering was a relatively easy fit? I know that late C series is easier...

Or if anyone else here has come up with a good method of adding power steering?

Thanks!

FYI 1100C is a 1968. The C series had PS available oem. Same box as the early D series 4X4.
Saginaw 708D.

Ok mistake on my end. Found the build sheet. It's an 1100B with four wheel drive.

What box is in your T-all now ?
If it is a Gemmer manual it has a long non-removeable steering input shaft , I swapped out all the necessaries from a 68 into my 67 T-all ,,, Box, column, frame stiffener, pump, brackets etc.
the grill/radiator support will need to be installed from 68 or modified for clearance along with the inner fender, the frame will need to be drilled (easy)
Not a "bolt in" swap ,just a little time consuming

Check frame carefully for cracks behind steering box , also that area is where your "VIN" number is stamped in frame

Big difference between a 67 and 68. 67 PS had the assist cylinder down on the linkage while 68 saw the upgraded steering box with integral power assist on the steering gear. Just like GM IH changed over to the new Saginaw power steering design.

Many differences in the mounting also.
