Default Any Interest in Power Window/Lock Conversions?

Hey guys,

any interest in power window or door lock kits for the Scout II? I'm currently installing both in a customers Scout and came up with a great way to convert to power windows so I can make more kits up if anyone is interested. Cost for the power window conversion for a Scout II complete with brand new window regulators, harness, and switch's would cost approximately $475(so far this is what I'm looking at). I can also come up with a cheaper kit where you cut/modify/weld your existing window regulator. Keyless entry is another open option that I can look at as well.

Power door locks are pretty easy to do as well so if anyone is interested in a kit that includes the actuators, switch's, and harness cost for the kit would be $165.

Post up or call/email if interested.

Ok where's the shovel?

either I'm having a major blondie moment or it's not listed in the online store - but I was looking to see about the power door locks. And I didn't see it listed. The power window kit is listed, which I currently have and in middle of installing into my 73 beast. While I'm at it, I have been fixing 30 plus years oem broken junk along with p.o. Virus crap = manual door lock mechanism.
Thanks

We have door lock kits available but they are not listed online. Give the sales office a call for details and pricing. We have them with keyless entry as well.

Question about the door lock kits; does the kit fit door mech that require a key to lock? My 74 you can not lock from the outside without a key, meaning you can't lock the door then shut it. I am sure that feature is part of the latch.

I'm interested in them both for my d series Travelall. Any plans for those?

Yes ron that feature is part of the door latch itself. Later years did not have this feature so if you switch out to later units you would actually be able to lock the door before shutting it.

We do have future plans for the d series vehicles but have no idea when this will happen.

Not at this time but if a customer project comes along wanting to do a set I'm sure we would then bring them to market.
