Any chance of moving this trip back a week? Spent way too much money this month, need to wait for pay day to play. If not no big deal.

I'm not sure about my work schedule right now.
Andy,

we can always take the south route to snake lake, which is the route that goes past little deer lake first, which you have already done. Based upon what I've read, the crazy steep hard part is on the north route, next to snake lake. For example, what we could do is take the south route in, go past little deer lake first, then go on to snake lake and camp. The camp spot is below the crazy steep part based upon what I've read. Then on the way out if folks want to try their hand on the steep part, they can take the north route out. Those who don't, can take the south route back out. Let us know about your schedule.

Matt,

I can push it back a week (August 2 and 3). Craig? Michael? Andy?

I don't want to push it back if we lose people, but if it means more can go, then it shouldn't be a problem. Don't forget about the rubicon run this year. We generally do that in early September.

August 2-3 is fine with me. I won't know 100% till it's closer.

Matt,

can you make July 26-27 or can you only go August 2-3? I ask because I think Craig cannot go August 2-3. I'll check with him.

If he can't make it the 2 and 3 I'll see if I can scrape up some cash. My pig drinks a lot of gas

Craig can't make it in August. Sorry Matt. I'd offer to push that pig, but I know why it goes through so much gas....

Also, I'll have room if you want to come with us.

Has anyone thought about where to meet up? Grass Valley maybe?

I suggested the trail head in post #12, unless others have a better idea.

I didn't want to drive the whole way by myself. Maybe I'll try and meet up with my fellow ham.

Thanks for the offer! I May only have 100hp left in my rig! Lol I just have a more road friendly 3.73 gears.

Google shows 1.5 hrs from Grass Valley to gold lake. Sooo... Craig should be through there about 7.30am. We'll see!
