Default Tilt Steering column

1979 Traveler project / 345 4bbl TQ /727 TF / D44 F&R.

as one of my "side projects" on the traveler, I am taking apart the steering column just to freshen it up (lube the swivel/knuckle) inside. I've got to the part of the steering where there is a "stud" on both sides of the round piece that needs to come off. I have the manual, see attached. don't know where to find this piece. An y Ideas?

GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! Got the mentioned part, spent the entire Saturday pulling apart the tilt steering and rebuilding it. But it is done, and the damn thing still works. Amazing. Thanks for the part location. So, if anyone needs help with their "tilt" steering column, just let me know. HAH!

Default Re: Tilt Steering column - Cruise Conrol

ok -

does anyone have an idea about the cruise control lever (the one that turns signal switch). I am trying to take apart the actual lever control at the end of the lever. I have the manual, but there is no instruction on how to take it apart. It must come apart, right? any ideas, folks? please and thanks!
