Default 1965 scout 80 buildup

Picked this up about 3 weeks ago. Its a 1965 Scout some one had put in a 350 Chevy it has an muncie sm420 4 speed trans with granny low first gear, Dana 18 transfer case. Dana 44 rear with a torsin t1 with 4.27 gears. Front Dana 27 with a power lock diff that needs rebuild due to broken spider gears.

Looks nice, really good platform. I would seriously think twice about spending any money on that 27 front. Thats polishing a turd. Upgrade! You'll be much happier.

Pics of installing peel and seal for sound deadening and blocking some heat. Two layers on the floor and one layer on the new sheet metal floor board.

Nice Scout. Looks like a champagne series 80. Not a common rig in that condition. Have a good time with it.

Got this top yesterday for the glass its for sale with out glass if anyone is interested.
