A cut out valve cover shows a very close tolerance between itself and the rockers.

A little closer view.

I've heard others have had issues with these roller tips contacting the valve cover. Did you run into this issue? If so, how did you handle it?

Sick build btw,

thanks,
jason

The baffles had to be removed from the inside of each cover and a much smaller one fabricated to keep oil from going up and out the breather hose. We also had to sand down some of the rocker arms on the edges to get that extra little bit of clearance. Ideally a 1/8" valve cover spacer with a gasket on either side would be best. I think Robert(jetfxr) had some made. He might have an extra set or can get you a set made??

Great (well, not great) but great info. That's what I wanted to know. My set will be here today so I wanted to be prepared for exactly what I'll run into. I'll be running a blank cover on one side and a arrestor/filler on the other. Spacer is not a 100%. Still working on that.

Thanks Jeff,
jason

Are the serpentine belt mods available as a kit?

Not at this time. Someday in the future maybe, but keeping costs lower would be the problem. Thanks.

They look pretty decent and like they belong there.
