Default CPT - Crawler Proven Technology GM Spring Hanger to IH Pickup or Travelall

CPT - Crawler Proven Technology GM spring hanger to IH pickup or Travelall - IH Parts America

Designed to fit 1961-73 IH pickup, travelette or Travelall with factory front leaf springs.

For those wanting to put a lift on your old IH truck you can now do it easily with these custom brackets from CPT.

Designed to use a common 1973-87 GM or Chevy k10 or k20 truck or suburban front leafspring.

Can be used with most manufactures of springs including rancho, Skyjacker, and Rough Country.

Has three different mounting positions for the spring mounting to fine tune the location of your front axle.

Installation is easy with only one cut needing to be made on the old spring hanger.

Look for our next part to go with this to make this install even easier - a matching shackle hanger.

Sold as a set.

Made in the usa

retail price $69.95 per pair

Jeff, just purchased a set of these- very high quality. However, do these require you to turn the spring around backwards? If I'm not mistaken, stock k20 pickups use the larger bushing and bolt up front (9/16") with the 7/16" end in the rear on the shackle- am I mistaken?

Looking forward to the rear mounts you guys will be coming out with- but for now I guess I'll be cutting down the rear bushing and sleeve to make it fit

I think you have it backwards. The small bolt end normally goes up front. However, there is no reason you couldn't run it the other way. If that is how you prefer to run the springs the other way just go ahead and enlarge the holes on our bracket.

Yes hopefully soon enough when we get our new place dialed in we can get back to making more new parts.

We now offer bumper brackets that work in conjunction with our CPT front hanger to fit all 1961-68 a,b,c series pickup and Travelall. When used in conjunction with our CPT hangers, the front bumper can be bolted back on. Depending on the overall condition of your bumper and its contours, some bumpers May require spacers be added to the brackets.

Below is the prototype set that we built before we designed what we now offer.

Do you have an estimated time for the rear shackle portion? Or is it just as easy to build one using a list of parts you have in stock?

Sorry no time frame and we apologize it has taken this long. We decided we are going to have bushings made to fit the existing hanger that match up with our CPT shackles and the GM leafspring. We think this will be easiest and most cost effective.
