The press release sez it all..."truck and 4x4 swap meet" and will run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Not limited to just IH stuff. We're trying to greatly increase traffic through the bee and powerland, especially since admission during the bee is free to the public.

Specific bee swap meet information will be forthcoming. Space is going to me limited to approximately 20 seller/swappers.

Binder Bee 2010 registration!!!!!!

Here it is, download, print, and mail it...today! Take advantage of the early bird registration discounts.

If you have an interest in table space for the Binder Bee truck and 4x4 swap meet, please make a note on your registration form and we'll send you additional information.

For those of you who are interested in collecting paper, here's a .pdf of the 2010 Binder Bee flyer/poster.

Thanks to club member drew merrick for producing the poster art for us this year!

Thanks also goes out to club member richard johnson/anders printing for having the materials printed for us again this year!

Distribution of the posters and flyers began last nite at our monthly IHSTO club meeting.

Here's the daily schedule for Binder Bee 2010.

The swap meet has shaped up nicely, much more interest than we anticipated.

Goodee bags are being stuffed right now!

All the raffle merchandise is on hand, the awards are done, t-shirts and caps are ready.

We're anticipating some rigs showing up that we've never seen before, along with some folks who we haven't seen the last couple of shows.

Interest and enthusiasm is high, we're packing now and almost ready to move into powerland!

Whatta show!

Lottsa last minute preparations as things evolved once we were on the ground, but all the aspects turned out really well!

We had many new exhibitors this year with quite a few unique vehicles that have never been shown at the bee before, including an wwii-era farmall-powered spartan road grader built for the seabees/u.s. Navy. I don't have the pics, the rest of ya will have to fill in the details.

While the motorcycle rallye folks never materialized, we did see a number of visitors at powerland who were unaware previously of such an event, no doubt the parades IHSTO has done in the region recently made a difference in attracting folks to come out for the day.

I've just finished unpacking all the production materials and sorting for handoff to daniel jaquith who will be serving as Binder Bee chairman for 2011.

The swap meet was very well received by all and will only grow in scope from now on. Lotta good stuff changed hands,...chris got rid of his engine right off the bat! And once again, I took advantage of chris' generosity as well,..some day he'll learn not to sell me anything!

Thanks again to all our supporters,...babs, ihcc chapter 30, mr. Scout, binder books, richard johnson/anders printing, IH Parts America, Isa's IH, Super Scout Specialists, and binder university.

We had more than enough club member volunteers to handle all the details for the first time! Canopy and table setup was performed by the Ismail and maycroft yunguns which took a huge load off us oldtimers...and they work purdy cheep too!

Daniel, monte, and Mike did a superb job in setting up the vehicles games, we were able to utilize the parade ground for steam up! Including bleachers, could not have been a nicer venue! Big crowd turned out to watch the games and participate so this area will definitely grow in the future.

We have not yet crunched the numbers, kathy should have a powerpoint presentation wrapping up the bee for the October club meeting. But a quick look at the registration master sheet looks like we had around 75 actual registrants with well over 100 display items.

On behalf of linda, lyle, kathy, drew, Matt, daniel, jen, monte, ken, Mike, and myself, we owe a huge thank you to all the bee participants for yet again proving that no matter how bad the economy is, this buncha folks is gonna have fun!
