Drive train wise, the axles should not be a big deal, the Eaton 5 speed is easier to source parts for than the IH built Fuller spinoffs. I really donít think...

In regards to your miss firing 2 and 4.
Have you verified the plug wire order? Possible that they got swapped. Also make sure the dizzy cap is not carbon tracking.

Itís very unlikely a crack would propagate from a smooth surface. 99% occur at a stress riser or corner. Magnetic particle inspection is the only true test for iron/steel.

FYI 1100C is a 1968. The C series had PS available oem. Same box as the early D series 4X4.

On the adjusters, when adjusting the adjuster with a tool, when you move the tool down it loosens the adjuster, up VsV.
That is the same brake arrangement that is on my 1200c. Careful when leaning...

If you have seen a failed cam bearing, the outer shell doesn't spin at first, the babbit layer comes off in pieces. Those pieces either come out the side or ride around until they do.

This kind of intermittent lifter noise is typical of a bearing problem. When the babbitt layer breaks loose, it spins around the cam at random intervals blocking and unlocking the oil hole.

The pcv valve is the major part of the system. The filler cap and the vent to the air cleaner closes the system. You need both to install an effective pcv valve system.

Measure the OD of the filler tube. From there you can decide what push in cap will work. Post the dimension and I can look.
