64 Scout 80 - SOLD

Selling my 64 Scout, I just don't have the room or tie for it

196 with a Weber 32/36, runs really well, T90/D18 is presently out of the truck.

Rear axle is an offset D44 from a Jeep with 4.27...

You might give Rock Tech Offroad in La Habra a call also, Chris knows IH, but I'm not sure if he works on trannies, if its a clutch thing...no problems.

Virtually impossible to know, they were available with a lot of ratio's. I would think standard would be around 3.73.

Yup and it's still under the DD rig, so much other crap has gone frickin wrong...I never got to fixing the axle that will replace it.

Replace the 1904 with a 32/36 Weber, the difference is amazing.

Sounds like it's coming along, it probably needs mounts...they all do, and it's kinda a pain. They drive soooo much better with all new mounts and spring bushings. Almost modern lol.

I rebuilt the new design Weber that was leaking and this is a completely different 32/36 than the 4 Spanish versions that I have stock piled, so there's a bit of a learning curve on it, and first run...

Hopefully you didn't trash the cam bearings, they like to seize or stick in an engine that has sat for a long time...thus the running of the oil pump to send oil through the engine and tuning it by...

Nice!! That hood emblem is worth $$$ they are hard to find and a 1 year only. Probably a 196 with a T18 4spd and Dana 20 Tcase, which is a good combo. There are specific ways to bring them back to...

If you find a Scout in southern cali I can look it over for you, and does he have the top for it? The traveler top is its own critter with a lift gate, that might be a Terra truck.

It appears to have the original drum brake D30 in the front, It won't handle 37's if you wheel it and your asking A LOT out of those brakes. It's just a glorified mall crawler in its present state I...
