Re: Interchangable rear end for 64 C1300

If there was a DB conversion kit available for the big 6 front axle, IHPA would have it. They don't, so it don't....exist. If DB up front or all around are a must for you, then your pioneeing spirit...

Re: need some help with 304 not accelerating

If you know of one. Not someone who's going to media blast it and slap it back together with whatever parts might be handy. The cause of your issues can run from simple to complex. It might just...

Re: need some help with 304 not accelerating

That list number carb denotes it as a Holley model 2300 original design. It is not original to your vehicle, as you suspected. It would have been original to an earlier model International vehicle....

The diagrams in the factory service manuals are the best available option.

Re: What do I have?

You need a 4 speed from a Scout II with a manual bull gear and a Dana 20 also from a Scout II. I don't know that there is such a thing as a "going price" for the stuff, but you're looking at several...

Re: Aftermarket fuel pump 152 ci

You should be able to test if the pump is making suction if removed from the engine. Its more likely that you got a pump that was ready to fail right out of the box.

Re: 1976 International pickup

Pour some Marvel Mystery Oil down the plug holes and let it soak overnight. Maybe repeat it a couple times. If that doesn't make any hay, then I think you're looking at yanking the engine to...

Re: 1976 International pickup

That's a Scout Terra. Same as the Scout Traveler, just with a cab top and bulkhead in place of the full travel top and rear seat, rendering it a unibody pickup in essence.
The engine is seized...

Re: 65 Scout 80 engine, tranny & tc (make offer)

Probably not too many active members from your neck of the woods on here. Shipping any further than across town would be a small fortune on that much weight.

Re: New Members please check in here

Might be too far gone to take a jump. I'd trickle charge over a period of time if it will accept that. If not, the battery is likely shot and will need to be replaced. You could have it load...

Re: Rear Axle ID

What's the wheel lug pattern? That almost looks like Ford 9", but don't take that as gospel.

Re: Dizzy cap help

Those are the right p/n's for cap and rotor to fit a Holley curved points distributor which is what you seem to have. Pictures of everything would help in identification. Your new points p/n...

Re: New Members please check in here

Welcome Randy. Are you planning a lot of deep water fording? You're pretty much limited to somewhere under the dash or under the hood. In the meantime, you can pretty easily trace out your voltage...

Re: 71 345 oil pump

If this is for a Scout II, unfortunately there are no new oil pumps for the oddball dual sump oil pan configuration that is utilized in the Scout platform. Rebuilding what you have is the only...

Re: New Members please check in here

Welcome Andy. This is not to dissuade you from going the hydro-boost route. If something is wrong with your power steering pump, replacements are common and easy to change out. That's after the...

Re: Testing the Fuel Gauge

Assuming your TEMP and OIL gauges are still functional, about the only piece that can be immediately ruled out is the CVR. Everything from the gauge to the in-tank sender is a potential culprit.

Re: T28 (BW model 8) stall in drive or reverse

How's the engine tune condition on this vehicle? Do you have a vacuum gauge that you could connect to a manifold vacuum source for readings that could either indicate or rule out a vacuum leak?
