you have to rotate the engine/cam. The cam bearings are what feed the rockers. So once you have good pressure. Rotate the engine clockwise until you start to see some oil at the rockers.

Sounds to me like you need a new Key tumbler installed. They are cheap but you need a steering wheel puller and lock plate remover to get to it.

So my kit came with two sets of shocks.

Different lengths.

Am I to assume the longer travel shocks are for the front 12" travel and the 9.25" travel for the rear.

It is hard to find a Scout or Scout II that isn't rotten up here in Canada. I wish I had have bought south of the border for my initial purchase as in the end it would have been thousands cheaper...

Mine ended up being further back on old stock springs.

Hope it doesn't screw me if I upgrade to lift springs in the future.

That is actually ingenious and the more I think about it the more I can't wait to get to it.
